Here it is
Basic Lab Skills- Mind map Physical quantities and measuring lengths - mind map (Upside down)Density and mass-mind map Separation of mixtures - mind map (Upside down) acid and alkalis -mind maps EVAPORATION
= Used to separate a dissolved solid from a solid-liquid mixture. = Used to obtain salt from sea-water. PAPER CHROMATOGRAPHY
= Used to separate small amounts of mixtures. = Make sure of the fact that difference substances dissolve to different extent in a mixture. = Used to separate mixtures of coloured substances such as ink and dyes. = Also used to identify the contents of a mixture or to test the purity of a liquid. DISTILLATION
= Used to separate a pure liquid from a solid-liquid or liquid-liquid mixture. = Boiling chips are used to ensure uniform heating. Observation:
-The ink of the marker smudge when it was put in the beaker of water. - Than the green colour dot is mixed with blue colour. -All of the dots when up. 3 THINGS I LEARN:
.I learn that the mass of (kg) does not affects how an object float or sink in water. .I learn that to find the density we will need to take the mass and the volume and divide so that we can get the density. .I learn that the density of the material varies with temperature and preasure 2 THINGS THAT I CAN IMPROVED ON? .The things that i can improved on is the floating or sinking item. I guess we can take bigger beaker to see if the item we put in really sink or float. .Another i can improved on is that we should change the liquid so that we could see the differents between the normal liquid or differents type of liquid. |
